2. Getting The Right Help

The wrong type of help is often damaging  because the child makes no progress and it reinforces their belief that that they are stupid. It’s vital that any teacher working with a dyslexic child has been trained in one of the following methods: Orton-Gillingham influenced methods – Wilson, Barton and Take Flight are three well know teaching programs that have a proven record of success. But hiring a private tutor can be costly ranging from $40-$100 and hour. Even finding a qualified tutor can be a challenge because there just aren’t enough.

Nessy Reading & Spelling is a low cost alternative to get help to your child immediately. It’s based upon Orton-Gillingham methodology and has been used successfully with hundreds of thousands of children around the world.
